Warren Buffet
The most significant cost for your project is LABOR and who you allow into your home is important. We take that seriously! Our team is highly skilled, vetted, mindful, clean & professional, all while earning a living wage.
We only use the BEST primers, paints, and supplies to make sure that your investment in paint will actually last, for years to come! We are proud to work with the #1 paint company in our area, Sherwin Williams.
We play by the rules! To make sure that you are protected from ANY accidents during your project, our business carries workers compensation & general liability insurance, we are bonded, licensed, and remit taxes, ontime.
The scope of work for your project can significantly impact the costs, and it's always best to start with a ballpark number, while you shop around. This pricing will give you a good idea of what to expect for a standard repaint
If you are looking to refresh EITHER walls, trim OR ceilings in your home with the same or very similar colors, you can anticipate a cost closer to $2/sqft AND if you'd rather CHANGE either the walls, trim OR ceilings to a different color that may be darker OR lighter, that will be closer to $4/sqft. Other factors such as extensive prep, drywall repairs, furniture, closets, or vaulted spaces will also be taken into consideration.
In a similar fashion, if you need to have several surfaces painted, such as the walls & trim, without a significant change of color, your general pricing will be closer to the $3/sqft range. If it's time to customize the space with a significant color change, you'd consider a price closer to $5/sqft which accounts for the extra time needed for the extra coats.
For a Standard Whole House repaint, not making a significant change of color (from light to dark OR dark to light) your ballpark amount will be closer to $4/sqft and with any Custom Painting or big change in color to be closer to $6/sqft. Apply these amounts to the square footage of the floor space for your project to get an idea of basic costs, and take into account that high ceilings or extensive prep/repair will be additional.
For standard painting of an Interior and even Exterior Door of your home, you can anticipate a cost of $40-70/per door, per side. If you don't want to paint the closets in your home, for example, it would be best to paint only 1 side of the door, the one facing the outside of the closet.
General Pricing cover homes with a basic layout > 1500 sqft to be repainted, and we are happy to come up with a custom quote for any homes that may be larger than 1500 sqft. If your space has high ceilings, intricate crown moulding, wainscoting, needs extensive drywall repairs, texture matching after drywall repair, or significant prep before painting can begin such as cleaning, moving furniture, or working room by room, that extra time will be an additional cost to anticipate.
Your design choice may impact these approximate costs
